Q: When is a vibrator more dangerous than a gun?

A Court of Federal Appeals held yesterday (Feb. 14), that an Alabama law prohibiting the sale of sex toys is constitutional. If only they’d treat the sale of guns the same way.

Take a look at my discussion of the case at Sex in the Public Square, an excellent blog by a thoughtful academic and activist. (And, full disclosure — a good friend).

  1. whoops- I wanted to leave this comment under the “Post Birth Abortion” peice.

Be in touch sometime, old friend.

  2. Hey There-
It’s great to see you out there, doing your work. I used to have a bumpersticker on my car that said “Prez Bush is Pro-life Until Birth”. Where is that now?
    Take care

  3. Thank you so much for your post! Please contribute as often as you like. You’re insight into legal questions, and the workings of the courts is especially helpful because such things sometimes get lost in my own general outrage 🙂
